Cat
This lab package is designed for cats of all ages and is ideal for anyone who wants a clear overview of their cat's health and to identify changes at an early stage. By combining a blood test with our digital health questionnaire, you receive a more comprehensive understanding of your cat's wellbeing and a valuable baseline for monitoring health over time. The blood test includes carefully selected blood markers that provide important insights into liver and kidney function as well as your cat's protein balance. Regular health screenings make it easier to detect changes early, giving you the opportunity to take action before they develop into more significant health concerns. After the sample has been analysed, you will receive a personalised health report where the results are presented in a clear and easy-to-understand format. The report combines the blood test results with the information from the health questionnaire and includes personalised recommendations for preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices. This gives you not only a snapshot of your cat's current health but also practical guidance to help support a long, healthy, and active life.

What can you learn about your pet's health?
Liver and bone (AFOS, ALAT)
Liver values reflect how the liver is working and whether there is strain or change in the body that may need monitoring. Deviations can relate to inflammation or metabolic changes, for example. AFOS can also rise with bone growth or for reasons unrelated to the liver.
Kidneys (UREA, KREA, SDMA)
The kidneys keep the body's fluid balance and metabolism in check. Changes in kidney function can develop for a long time without clear symptoms, which makes following them an important part of preventive health monitoring. Together, SDMA and creatinine help identify changes at an earlier stage than a single marker.
Blood proteins (ALB, TP)
Blood proteins reflect the body's overall balance, including nutrition, liver function and possible inflammation or protein loss. Deviations can hint at changes in several of the body's systems, which is why they are always assessed as a whole.
